How to get there
Apollo Bay is located 195 kilometres south-west of Melbourne, a scenic
3½ hour drive by car via the Great Ocean Road.
A shorter alternative route is via Forrest and Birregurra, which takes around 21/2 hours - the Geelong Ring Road makes the journey easier and quicker.
Daily coach services are available from Melbourne or rail/coach services via Geelong. Apollo Bay has a wonderful range of accommodation - see our list with contact numbers.
